Czech Championship 2017

The peak of the season, the last race of the Czech Cup, final ranking - it was all brought by the Czech Championship, which took place in the Herlíkovice Ski Areal in Krkonoše mountains 4.-5. of March. For it was an FIS race, we met with foreign racers once again. The weather was wonderful and we were looking forward to witnessing everyone’s progress which was made during this season.

The Giant Slalom was held on Saturday, March 4th, and even though the temperature reached high degrees, the slope was firm and everyone was able to show the best of them (pictures gallery).

The evidence to this statement is that most runs were even and weren’t enjoyed just by the riders, but by the viewers as well. Especially in the junior and adult categories (The man’s runs were INSANE!)

On Sunday the sky was slightly cloudy and the morning temperatures were low. Throughout the day the sun started to shine and unfortunately, the temperatures increased drastically. The snow softened and the track turned into a disaster. Fortunately, the tough conditions made the runs thrilling (pics).

During this weekend we reached 15 medails at all. Isn't it wonderful?
